Since February 2022, from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russia, Kyiv Dance Festival has become not only a cultural event but also an important platform for charity, support, and solidarity.
With the involvement of Kyiv Dance Festival, our partners, artists, and participants, funds and humanitarian aid have been raised and delivered to support civilians, children of Ukraine, and the defense of the country against russian aggression. This support has included financial contributions, humanitarian assistance, and targeted fundraising initiatives.
A key focus of all our projects and festivals is supporting the mental and psychological well-being of people affected by the war. Each Kyiv Dance Festival initiative carries a charitable mission, aiming to create a safe space for emotional relief, recovery, and human connection through culture, dance, and community.
In total, since 2022, approximately 2,000,000 UAH (over 40,000 EUR) has been raised thanks to the joint efforts of our community. Every contribution represents real help and meaningful support during extremely challenging times.

The mission of Kyiv Dance Festival is to develop the culture of social dancing in Ukraine by uniting people through music, movement, and shared emotions — supporting the moral spirit of Ukrainians even in the most challenging times.Over 20 professionals from various fields are united by a common goal and a shared love for dance.Leading the team are experienced organizers Denys and Olga Niedielko, who put their hearts into every festival, creating an atmosphere of inspiration, unity, and joy.
